i cannot believe that my hair color has stayed the same for so long. 5 months, i think it's a record.
that's about to change.
i msg'd my hairdresser on myspace about the extensions i want put in so hopefully she'll get back to me and tell me everything can be done. i'm scared the back is too short to attach the extensions too. what's up platinum, and caving to peer pressure. everyone told me to go back, so i am [sortof].
my hair, for those who haven't seen it [meaning everyone] is wayyy asymmetrical. it's almost hard to explain. the left layers are longer than the right and the right side is like an a-line cut that gets longer towards my face. so anyway, what i want to get done is platinum extensions to almost fill in the cut, so that my hair is actually all one length and the extensions like peak through the shorter layers on the right side. to balance it a bit, i'll get a chunk on my left side towards the front, where i have a short layer and a longer layer and nothing in between.
and i want to be a hair color model at a salon and get a wicked cheap dye before i do this to make my hair a medium coppery brown.
i'm so boring.

It's been hitting me recently that in 2 years, I'll be moving somewhere far away [most likely]. I relish it and it's so daunting at the same time. And scary. I feel safe and like... protected now. I enclose myself in the term "college student". We're not supposed to have real responsibilities, duties, bills, blah blah etc. In 2 years, that's gone. Boston's gone.
If I decide to do an informatics residency, possible places are nashville, baltimore, st louis, nebraska LOLOLOL, portland [oregon, only one that counts, fuck maine], oahu, anddd ... worcester.
It's scary to say goodbye to your home for the past 6 years. Way scarier than saying goodbye to NJ/high school.
I can't wait. But still. How lives change.

My life has changed so much in the past year, to the point of hilarity.
I don't know if I like it. But I feel old and grown up, and I have actual shit to do and worry about while everyone else deals with nonsense. I wish I could deal with nonsense. I'm older than most everyone I know and for once I'm feeling it.
I'm a judgemental pretentious fuck.
I'm stubborn and I like things my way.
I think I'm difficult to like.
Which is odd because I think for the most part I'm easy to get along with.
Oh well. I have approx. 7 more hrs in Oahu and then I'm really back to reality :/

Someone buy me Dawsons Creek on dvd kthnx.
I spent a shitload at the mall Monday. Almost $70 at MAC, $100 for a bathing suit [omfg one that fits], $50 at walmart for souvenirs/a gift for amanada, $50 at old navy.
Tuesday I got some good Thai food, and then some shave ice. Shave ice is phenomenal here. Yummy. Yesterday I went to a LUAU. It was so much fun, I really had a good time.
I have been having at least one drink every day I've been here, minus 2. And jamba juice all the time. Best stuff ever.
Today is snorkelling!!! At hanamua bay. And dinner at dukes, followed by the international marketplace. And tomorrow is the open bar sunset catamaran cruise. Friday is ummm idk!!! Saturday is the atv ride, and then maybe a BBQ with amanda's friends in the army/coast guard. Or else going through the largest maze in the world [2001 guiness record!] at the Dole Pineapple Planatation.
And then my flight home :/
Toph will be on break when I get back :/
Annddd I have so much work to do.
Fuck. And work period.

I've seen 4 5 different rainbows in the course of maybe 3 hours.
It sun showers here a lot, for like 20 min at a time, throughout the day.
No one makes bathing suits big enough for my almost-double d-tits and I hate the world.
I had jamba juice!!1 mmmmm. I want to buy so much stuff at the mall. 2 diesel stores here in honolulu and a huge mac store, and just amazing stores. I'm going to spend so much money I don't have, I know it.
The water is the most amazing shades of blue. It's beyond belief.
Every dude here is in the military. Or azn. Or both. Lots of short guys too, idk. I can't stop thinking about how I miss my tophs.

I feel so...at home....when overlooking the LA area from an airplane.
Sigh. Few more years, I can do it.
The flight here wasn't bad, my seat somehow managed to eat my NU id but whatevs, I'll get a new one. I got to see The Family Stone, which was a damn good movie. ♥lukewilson. I saw part of aeon flux too. And flew over the grand canyon. And did these kukaro puzzles, which are sorta like sudoku crossword puzzles. Idk. They're harder than sudoku. Silly japanese puzzlers.
Maybe I'll get some sleep/work/reading done on this part of the flight, seeing as the view will be all water. Lets hope I don't pull a Lost and crash on some island okay?

Hawaii in 5 days. !!!!!!!. Amanda's all like "so we gotta decide what you want to do when you're here because some things may need reservations, like riding atv's in the forests where LOST and Jurassic Park were filmed". Ummmm. !!!!!!11 FUCK YES. I want to invade the lost set hahahah.
AA trip sometime this week bc I need hot clothes for hawaii/a bathing suit.
Oooohh I can't forget, I have the MAC event Thursday night. Sup hot new makeup colors.
I'm looking at an apartment today I believe. It's like less than a block from campus, and almost $150 cheaper than now, and the room is huge, and the girl is my age @ NU, so I hope it goes well and I can stop stressing about where to live in May.
I bought girl scout cookies last night, wtf's with samoa's being called "caramel delites" now?

after hawaii, when i'm not so poor, i'm going to put in a panel of colored extensions on one side of my hair. probably the longer side.
what color should i do?
i mean, literally any color in the world i can pick. from blue to pink to copper.
i was thinking maybe like a medium golden blonde or a medium coppery brown. idk.

One of the pharmacists I work with, Tony, offered me $100 for each piercing if I take them out.
It was almost tempting.
But well, I can only keep them for another 2 years so I might as well make the best of it.
My huge exam on Friday covers less material than I thought. So I'm happy. I still have a ton of stuff to do and I probably won't sleep Thursday night. I think Friday will be omfgwayoverduematthewsleepoverhangout because I miss him and Toph's gonna bring his ps2.
I have no interest in going to shows anymore at all. Except Youth Group next month. That will be awesomeeeeee.
My boyfriend is the best thing ever. Ever. I love you boo.
I haven't been to either mac or aa in a while and I'm due back, but I'm poooor. Ugh. I signed up for the mac event march 3rd. Should be a good time. Aa has the 50/50 shirts now and are making more colors, sick. I need to get a bathing suit there too before hawaii.
